Dr. M. turns two decades of musical ambition into spectacular debut album ‘Follow Me’

More than twenty years of determination, creativity and unwavering passion have culminated in Follow Me, the ambitious nine-track album from Finnish musician Dr. M., delivering a thrilling celebration of classic songwriting, theatrical arrangements and larger-than-life pop-rock production.

The musical project of Antti Honkasalo, Dr. M. embraces the extravagant spirit of 1980s pop and progressive rock, combining soaring melodies, powerful instrumentation and cinematic ambition into an exhilarating listening experience.

Among the album’s highlights, ‘(Anyone Can Be A) Hero’ delivers an uplifting explosion of anthemic choruses and roaring saxophone, while ‘Blinded By Love’ showcases an irresistible flair for infectious pop songwriting.

Elsewhere, the magnificent seven-minute ‘Welcome to Babylon’ ventures into progressive-rock territory, demonstrating Honkasalo’s appetite for adventurous arrangements and expansive musical storytelling.

Featuring commanding vocals from longtime collaborator Maria Moon, Follow Me represents the culmination of a creative journey that began in 2004.
