Drew Davies embraces dark cinematic rock on explosive new single ‘La Revanche’

South Yorkshire artist Drew Davies returns with his first new single in more than two years, unveiling the brooding and theatrical ‘La Revanche’, a dramatic new release inspired by revenge, obsession, and emotional liberation.

Built around crashing guitars, pulsing synths and sweeping orchestration, the track leans heavily into the atmosphere of classic 90s gothic noir cinema, drawing influence from films such as The Crow, 12 Monkeys and Batman. Davies balances cinematic tension with explosive alternative rock energy, pairing his commanding baritone verses with huge, emotionally charged choruses.

Marking a significant shift in his creative evolution, ‘La Revanche’ is the first release to feature Drew’s full live band, bringing a more urgent and expansive energy to his sound.
