Faint Halos search for certainty in an uncertain world on ‘This Means Everything’

Faint Halos have shared ‘This Means Everything’, the second single and opening track from their forthcoming self-titled album.

Built around a guitar riff that had been waiting for a home for some 15 years, the track arrives with a striking sense of confidence, setting up an album concerned with belief and humanity’s persistent search for something larger to hold onto.

‘This Means Everything’ considers what happens when traditional sources of certainty begin to lose their influence. Astrology, mythology and conspiracy become different responses to the same fundamental desire: finding patterns within a world that rarely provides straightforward answers.

Musically, the song came together with unusual ease. The band immediately adopted it as both their live and album opener, with its towering central riff providing a suitably assured entrance into the ideas that will shape Faint Halos.
