Good Charlotte Albums Ranked
Good Charlotte is an American rock band from Waldorf, Maryland, that formed in 1996. Since 1998, the band’s constant members have been vocalist Joel Madden, guitarist and vocalist Benji Madden, bassist Paul Thomas, guitarist, and keyboardist Billy Martin, while drummer Dean Butterworth has been a member of the band since 2005. The band released their self-titled debut album in 2000 to mostly positive reviews. In 2002, they achieved breakthrough success with their second album, The Young and the Hopeless. Featuring the hit singles Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, The Anthem, and Girls & Boys, The Young and the Hopeless sold 3.5 million copies in the US and was certified triple platinum by the RIAA, for a total of almost 5 million copies sold worldwide. The band followed that up with The Chronicles of Life and Death in 2004; a darker album, both musically and lyrically. Backed by the singles Predictable and I Just Wanna Live, The Chronicles of Life and Death continued the band’s success, and the album was certified platinum by the RIAA, selling over one million copies in the US alone. In 2007, they released the dance-punk inspired album Good Morning Revival before going back to their punk-roots with the album Cardiology in 2010. After a four-year-long hiatus, the band announced its comeback on November 3, 2015.[4] The band released Youth Authority to positive reviews in 2016, and in 2018 they released their latest album, Generation Rx. In addition, they released two compilations: Greatest Remixes in 2008 and Greatest Hits in 2010. Good Here are all of Charlotte albums ranked.

7. Generation RX (2018)
“Excellent follow up to Youth Authority! Been a GC fan since the first album I love this album every song is great. The only thing is it’s short for some reason they only did 9 songs but they are all good. My favorites are Cold Song, Prayers, Actual Pain and How I Say I Love You. If you liked the last album you’ll like this one.”
6. Youth Authority (2016)
“I am really happy to not only hear from Good Charlotte again, but for it to sound so good! I am especially excited that the lyrics apply to more adult life, and that I can relate to them just like I could relate to their other lyrics as a kid. If you liked Good Charlotte before, I think you will enjoy this album!”

5. Cardiology (2010)
“Their music is great in my opinion and I cant see why they’re not more popular. I discovered them sort of by accident and decided to look into them more.Although wasn’t too thrilled with their previous albums, this one stood out, their overall sound is better along with everything else. So if you are interested in this particular genre of music don’t be discouraged by the negative comments, Good Charlotte is a great band and this album could be a step in the right direction for them.”
4. Good Morning Revival (2007)
“”Good Morning Revival” is an album that was made by a band in transition. Joel and Benji Madden went from being snot-nosed punks to being Hollywood Gossip subjects. It’s hard not to read Joel’s tabloid-fodder dalliance with Hilary Duff into “Broken Hearts Parade” or the heartbreak ballad “Where Would We Be Now” (or the good boy loses to bad boy “Break Her Apart” tirade). However, it was their adolescent frenzy that made Good Charlotte interesting and “Good Morning Revival” sounds like they want to become another generic arena rock band.”

3. Good Charlotte (2000)
“Clear signs that this band were going to become huge This debut is brimful with spiky punchy rip-roaring songs that offer standard punk-pop played with passion youthful exuberance and enthusiasm Clearly wanting to impress the record-buying public with the hope that they will gain a greater audience this cd achieved that Good quality exciting music that set the benchmark for there future released Well worth a purchase and your continued listening You will enjoy this bands debut”
2. The Chronicles Of Life And Death (2004)
“This is album is awesome. You will not be disappointed. Every song is superb!! Good Charlotte is quite well aware they wrote a political commentary called “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous,” and that they ARE now the rich and famous. The irony is not lost on them. Listen to the lyrics of I Just Wanna Live.”
1. The Young And The Hopeless (2002)
“Yet another credible move on the band’s part that really stood out to me, is that even though they are a principally mainstream group on a major label and even appeared countless times on MTV and major radio stations at the time of “The Young and the Hopeless,” is that they have the class to acknowledge the debt owed to earlier, more underground punk acts of the past by their mention of Social Distortion and even D.C. hardcore pioneers Minor Threat in the aforementioned “Riot Girl.” Heck, Benj appears in all photos in the CD’s layout as a total crusty punk rocker, complete with spiked hair and dons patches of old British punk acts like Subhumans and 999.”
