2. Anthem Of The Peaceful Army (2018)

“Greta Van Fleet is a young band making fantastic music from a throwback era. They are a genuine pleasure to listen to. The lead vocals are howling, ethereal and pleasing all at the same time. The guitar solos are engrossing. The bass line is popping and the drums are banging. Anyone looking for new rock from a bygone era, this is the band for you. The album doesn’t do their talent justice. The kids are making great music. Give them a listen.”

1. From The Fires (2017)

“This is a solid debut album that, at first, sounded as if they were trying to be a Led Zeppelin throwback. That’s not an issue, as that was what drew me towards the fire to buy it. However, after a few plays, it’s clear that this band is developing its own identity with an album that is pretty well put together and worth listening to. Though it is clearly influenced by the great real rock bands from the ’70s and ’80s, that’s the quality people are hungry for that is now only present in older bands touring and playing their hits.”
