10. Tales from the Crypt (Don’t Metal with Evil 1985)
“What we see in Halloween is an approach to musical structure and modality that takes serious brain power to generate. There are serious and distinctive musical decisions that Halloween makes in their note choice and phrasing that sets them apart as some of the most serious True Metal bands to release music.”
9. Scared to Death (Don’t Metal with Evil 1985)
“Rick Craig’s attack and note choice are particularly outstanding, his style of playing has something I like to call “controlled ugliness”, every note and phrase has a very unique dissonance with the key. This sort of style is looked down upon by some people, but it takes serious brains and guts to make solos sound that consistently nasty.”
8. Don’t Metal with Evil (Don’t Metal with Evil 1985)
“Do NOT confuse this band with the German Power Metal Band, this is true 80/90’s style American metal. Almost all of the songs have a Halloween motif with a good fair amount of good natured humor added in.”
7. Rest in Peace (Victims of the Night, 1997)
“Do NOT confuse this band with the German Power Metal Band, this is true 80/90’s style American metal. Almost all of the songs have a Halloween motif with a good fair amount of good natured humor added in.”

6. Victims of the Night (Victims of the Night, 1997)
“The musicianship, songwriting, and arrangements are top notch and the songs suffer on slightly from the dated production. If you are a fan of holiday and enjoy good American metal in style of early Lizzy Borden, WASP, Motley Crue, etc, then this is a must have for your CD collection.”
5. Head Against a Wall (Horror Fire, 2006)
“This album, Horror Fire is just an awesome heavy metal album. I can strongly recommend it to anyone who are into heavy metal. The album holds such a great atmosphere throughout and you are able to listen to it many times.”
4. Wake Up Screaming (Horror Fire, 2006)
“The metal world’s best-kept secret explodes back on 6/6/6 with their greatest recording yet. Halloween’s full length “Horror Fire” shows the band is in top form as is evidence on the scorching instant classic “Wake Up Screaming”.

1. Halloween (No One Gets Out, 1991)
“A familiar name in the eighties zines, Halloween always seemed on the verge of going big time, but no such luck. But on the evidence here, they really should have. Kind of like a rougher Lizzy Borden, they were certainly strong players and knew a good riff when they heard it”
