4. Room 93, 2014

Halsey - Room 93 Lyrics and Tracklist | Genius

“Obsessed! One of the greatest singers today. She has the voice that represents the youth and I am especially partial as someone who lives in Brooklyn where she is talking about the neighborhood of Bed Stuy. Haunting vocals, chilling beats. What’s not to love? Hurricane, Ghost and a few other songs on this album make it a must have.

3. Hopeless Fountain Kingdom, 2017

HALSEY Hopeless Fountain Kingdom Vinilos at Juno Records.

“Hopeless Fountain Kingdom falls short of what is excepted of it. Halsey attempts to put together a re-telling of Romeo and Juliet in a contemporary setting, with more introspective elements and a bisexual twist. However, the conceptual aspect of this album doesn’t ever find steady ground. Halsey would have been better off with a Romeo and Juliet motif in lieu of a full-blown concept album. The story itself never really feels prominent or cohesive, with the scenes in place but the plot being scrambled.”

2. Manic, 2020

Halsey - Manic (Target Exclusive, CD) : Target

“I got to the end of this album and was like ‘Poor Halsey, she’s been through a rough time!’ that’s pretty spectacular in an album to convey that level of emotion and journey over 16 tracks. You feel like you’ve been taken on the journey with Halsey from the lows of a failed relationship to the highs of self-discovery and improvement. The album really showcases Halsey’s vocals well and lets the vocals and lyrics be the center point of the whole album. Definitely worth checking out, it’s a beautiful project”

1. Badlands, 2015

BADLANDS - Halsey (Album Deluxe) by theblacknblue on DeviantArt

“Halsey debut LP is an alternative pop masterpiece. If you like Lana Del Rey or Melanie Martinez, you’ll likely enjoy Halsey. The majority of the songs lyrically do have to deal with drugs and sex, but that doesn’t bother me. She has a nice voice that caries the message of the songs extremely well. I’d recommend getting the Target Exclusive Edition as it has extra songs. The Target Exclusive Edition even includes a quality cover of Johnny Cash’s “I Walk The Line”.
