3. In Tongues (2017)

I recreated the In Tongues album cover : PinkOmega

“It could just be because I have a lot of nostalgia for this era of Joji’s music from loving and listening to this EP constantly in sophomore year of high school, but the negativity towards this project on RYM is surprising to me. Sure, Bitter Fuck is kinda bad, but everything else is very catchy and vibey Alt-R&B that doesn’t outstay it’s welcome.”

2. Nectar (2020)

Nectar (Joji album) - Wikipedia

“When I first heard this album I thought it was a little repetitive. But the more I listened the more I loved it. The start of the album was strange and a little eerie, especially as Ew with the starting track. And it ends with Your Man, which shows the production value rising and really tells a story about Joji’s life. The features on this album were so so good. Diplo and Yachty are huge artists and blend so well with Joji.”

1. Ballads 1 (2018)

WANTED U [Explicit] by JOJI on Amazon Music - Amazon.com

“The album is consistent and knows what it wants to be. I think the production has a vibe and is generally fun and pleasing to the ears. The lyrics I think are fine, nothing special but they do their job. R.I.P. is the only real dud in my opinion. People talk shit on this album because they think it is generic and boring. Personally, I’ve never heard another album like this.”
