Keep the Faith Songs Ranked

Keep the Faith is the fifth studio album by American rock band Bon Jovi, released on November 3, 1992, by Mercury Records. It is Bon Jovi’s last studio album to feature all five original members, as bass guitarist Alec John Such was dismissed from the band in 1994. It is Bon Jovi’s first album since 1985’s 7800° Fahrenheit not to be produced by Bruce Fairbairn. It was also their first album to have a title track. The album was produced by Bob Rock and was recorded at the Little Mountain Sound Studios in Vancouver, British Columbia. Keep the Faith marked a change to a “more serious interpretation of the band’s pop-metal groove”.[1] It is also Bon Jovi’s longest album to date, clocking in at 66 minutes. Keep the Faith peaked at number five on the US Billboard 200 chart and was certified double-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The album produced several hits for the band, including “Keep the Faith”, “Bed of Roses” and “In These Arms”. Here are all of Keep the Faith songs ranked.

.13. Little Bit of Soul

“Little bit of soul is another masterful compendium of American cowboy rock and blues, guided through the clean sound of maestro Sambora’s guitar, with the spectacular voice of the group’s frontman and the powerful musical base of the rest of the band”

12 Woman in Love

“Woman in love brings us back the casual rock of the band, with lyrics and a pose that, now with the group’s attitude, could perfectly have been composed along with the other songs from the band’s eighties records.”

11. Fear

“Again they bring us one of the hardest cuts of his career Fear, where Jon leaves his throat in this powerful song that there is little to reproach him for.”

10. Save a Prayer

“Save a Prayer ‘begins with a choral singing accompanied by drums (somewhat reminiscent of “We Will Rock You”) – a kind of prayer – and then there is a song in which the vocals (Richie Sambora – the first and only time for the entire album – and John) is passed through the vocoder, which causes a general feeling of anxiety, but still remains optimism “Pray for me, and I will pray for you.”

9. Blame It On the Love of Rock & Roll

“And those who freely reproach a lack of purity or a distancing from their origins should be recommended to them the very rocker Blame it on the love of Rock & Roll in which their claim leads them to sing “All I want, is to be a Rolling Stone” in his chorus.”

8. I Want You

“Another great ballad, a genre that has been perfectly measured: I want you. Its title already takes us into another excellent composition in which rock and sensuality give form a clear regret and love desire. Nor did it go down in history or on the set-list, but that does not mean that it should be detracted from its quality.”

7. If I Was Your Mother

“I lack praise for my favorite song of the group, If I was your mother, a very intense hard rock song, in which Richie’s guitar is very close to thrash metal, if the purists will allow me, and Jon’s throat, ragged , shows a masterful power that has nothing to envy the great throats of metal, such as Ian Gillan or Ronnie James Dio. Superb the riff of the guitar hero. A Bon Jovi masterpiece, without a doubt.”

6. In These Arms

“Very elaborate lyrics that of In these arms, in which the declaration of love is given in the key of a somewhat more agitated theme and in a tone and volume somewhat far from the one that
used in their well-known ballads, as is the case with the portentous Bed of Roses that precedes it, in which each member stands out on their own throughout its more than 6 mini-minutes to give one of the most spectacular ballads of the band. , and arguably rock in general.”

5. I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead

“Rock and Roll with little margin for surnames is I’ll sleep when I’m dead, in which they claim the party and the fun of rock, as they did in the 80s with other similar themes.”

4. I Believe

“In general, it is an optimistic rock album, very varied in its themes without leaving any of the personality and attitude that encompasses the album. It starts with I believe, a rare one on the New Jersey set-list, but one that brings together all the ingredients and all the magic of the band, in Jon’s voice, and I really like the machinery that Tico makes sounding masterfully. .”

3. Keep the Faith

“Keep the Faith, Bon Jovi’s super hit, hopeful message in rock key, recognizable bass lines from the first note and an excellent interpretation of Jon on the voice, not forgetting the guitar hero, Richie.”

2. Bed of Roses

1. Dry County

“But it does not lose at all Dry County quality, in which the almost 10 minutes pass fleeting to the rhythm of an exquisite song in which Jon’s voice, the choruses, the arid lyrics, and the heartbreaking chorus give way to a prodigious riff of the friend. Richie, in which his Fender Stratocaster is seen and desired to emanate heavy metal, yes gentlemen, a perfectly heavy plucking, which his fingers print on the neck. Another gem.
