10. Without Love

“It’s okay, it’s the kind of a song for when you don’t care about the rest of the world and you’re just in complete bliss. As far as the lyrical content is concerned, they are blissfully”

9. Wild in the Streets

“Another song talking about remembering the good ole times. They always like to end the albums with fun and energetic songs.”

8. Social Disease

“One of their many songs that relates love to a sickness. The intro is filled with sex noises…Anyways, it’s not the best, but I love the call for “Dr. Bon Jovi” and then the prescription of “nothing a shot can’t cure” in the end.”

7. I’d Die for You

“This song is a great pledge of love with awesome keyboards, it was one of my favorites in earlier days. “I’d Die For You” has the chemical cheesewhiz of synths sprayed on thickly, while Sambora decadently engorges in the whole super-80s guitar hero solo thing.”

6. Raise Your Hands

“This one rocks when played in concert, especially Richie at the beginning. I love how everyone raises their hands together and all the cities are mentioned in it, especially Sayreville, New Jersey at the very end. It’s a really fun song.”

5. Let It Rock

“It has an unexpected opener from them and takes a while to get into the song, but does a great job kicking off the album by showing how fun it will be. I love the mention of Captain Kidd and the King of Swing also.”

4. Never Say Goodbye

“It would make a wonderful graduation song. There are a few inappropriate mentions…drinking, smoking, sex……but still a great grad song.”

3. Wanted Dead or Alive

“It’s a classic. One of Bon Jovi’s many cowboy songs. It was basically a journal of how their lives were at that point in time. Jon dared by saying “i’ve seen a million faces and i’ve rocked them all” early in his career before they were headliners, but luckily he can truthfully make that claim now. It’s always nice to hear Richie too!”

2. You Give Love a Bad Name

“Bon Jovi phenommenon started to exist when their first no.1 hit-single, the heavy-metal “You give love a bad name” hit the charts. The song starts out fierce with no intro beats. It was one of their biggest hits, and the lyrics are awesomely naughty.”

1. Livin on a Prayer

“Bon Jovi has written and performed many great songs, but his being the first song of theirs that I heard, it is the one that I, along with many others, immediately associate with this band. Dead or Alive is another great song in this album, but in my own opinion, this piece is their anthem; one of their best works ever. The lyrics tell a good story, and the song is far too fun to sing.”
