Load is the sixth studio album by the American heavy metal band Metallica, released on June 4, 1996 by Elektra Records in the United States and by Vertigo Records internationally. The album showed more of a hard rock side of Metallica than the band’s typical thrash metal style, which alienated much of the band’s fanbase. It also featured influences from genres such as Southern rock, blues rock, country rock, and alternative rock. Drummer Lars Ulrich said about Load’s more exploratory nature, “This album and what we’re doing with it – that, to me, is what Metallica are all about: exploring different things. The minute you stop exploring, then just sit down and fucking die”. Load is the first of Metallica’s albums to feature only three songwriters, the other being 2016’s Hardwired… to Self-Destruct. “Pretty good song, I have to say. The whole album is great! The Loads are in my opinion the most UNDERRATED Metallica albums. Anyways, this song is very good. This song has an amazing groove to it!”

“Cure” is one of these songs that never feet very well with the strong songs of the album.. Is one song that for the most of the times you past.. It feels one bonus track song.. It’s cool i enjoy it but i believe is one of the weaker songs from the band..”

“Is ok song and has good feeling but personal i prefer them little more heavy.. But definitely i enjoy that song and the riffs despite hasen’t more things to give you..”

“This song is not so famous here because it get very down position on the album.. The most of the times when you put to listen the album, you listen the first 7 songs and after change music.. So over time you forget such a songs.. Anyway the song is good and very catchy but nothing too special..”

“My favorite song from the album. It has very awesome attitute and i love it.. Also “James” vocals it sound amazing and very men here.. Remind you “Corrosion Of Conformity” little bit and that is good thing. One of my favorite songs in general..”

“In the beginning it seems one hit but over time become to something else. The transformation is very good and the song become bigger every second.. One of the best momments of the album..”

“The ballad from the album.. When i was young i little hate this song because never understand it.. But over time grow on me and right now i believe is a very good song from them and also one of the most different.. “James” always love “Country” music and here he play it..”
6. Ain’t My B*tch
“One of the stronger and coolest songs of the album and wise choice to put it on the frond.. Very catchy riffs and notes from them here.. The song has a great intro and a memorable chorus.Only song from this album where James’ had that amazing harsh sound on his voice for most of the song.”
5. Hero of the Day
“To be honest i never get this song like some other people out there. Always it sound to me very weird.. Never i get something from it or something more than many other songs.. Also the middle transformation again don’t touch me.. So I guess for some people this is one of the stronger songs of the album but i can’t feel the same. Perhaps they love the lyrics but personal i never give more attention on lyrics than the music..”

4. The Outlaw Torn
“t seems this song is the bigger from them.. Also they cut it because was too big and exceed the length of the CD.. If you want to listen the entire song, you can find it on “The memory Remains” single. In there they put the entire song. Anyway this song is one the stronger of the album. Really here you can get all these feelings from the album in one song.. Here they play everything and that song represent very good the “Load/Reload” era.. Heavy and catchy riffs, weird guitar notes and very good performance in general.. This song definitely become the album better..”
3. King Nothing
“The second big hit from the album.. Compare it with “Until it Sleeps” this it sound more “Metallica” and remind you “Black Album” era.. One good and heavy riff and let’s go.. Personal i find it great but i prefer more some other songs from the album..”

“I know many people that love this song very much. And for sure it is one special song here and general in the whole discography. Has unique atmosphere and give you one special feeling.. Personal i love the explosion in the middle and in the end.. “James” vocals become so brutal and so heavy and i love that every time. One of the best songs of the album..”

“Definitely one of the best hits of the band and one of the key songs here.. Despite it become a Radio hit, the song is really amazing.. Has amazing melacholic feeling and “James” vocals are incredible..
You can sing very loud with that song and express very well your feelings and that matters in the end..”
