Logan Richard turns writer’s block into a feel-good roots-rock anthem with ‘Trying to Find Something’

Award-winning Canadian singer-songwriter Logan Richard proves that inspiration can strike in the most unexpected circumstances with his infectious new single ‘Trying to Find Something’.

The Prince Edward Island musician delivers an irresistible blend of bluesy guitar work, lively rhythms and effortlessly charming songwriting, transforming a frustrating creative dry spell into one of his most playful releases.

Written just days before an intensive four-day recording session, the track captures his determination to find something original to say while struggling with the pressure of writing an entire album.

Produced by Joshua Van Tassel, the single features a wonderfully fluid bass performance from Afie Jurvanen, better known as Bahamas, alongside Logan’s guitar, vocals and Wurlitzer.

With its irresistible groove and easygoing personality, ‘Trying to Find Something’ is another impressive showcase of Logan Richard’s natural songwriting talent.
