Lost in the City dive into regret and possibility on new pop punk anthem ‘Say Anything’
Kansas City outfit Lost in the City continue to ascend with the release of their emotionally charged new single ‘Say Anything’. Blending punchy pop punk energy with reflective songwriting, the track captures the tension between who we are and who we might have become if life had unfolded differently.
Made up of Shane Radford, Andy David, Tyler Hicks and Ellis Mays, the band fuse nostalgic early-2000s influences with a modern edge, combining soaring melodies, energetic instrumentation and emotionally open lyricism. Although the group formed recently, their chemistry already feels fully locked in, with each member bringing their own personality into the mix.
At its core, ‘Say Anything’ explores alternate versions of ourselves; the imagined lives tied to the opportunities, relationships and decisions left behind. But rather than dwelling entirely in regret, the track reflects on identity and the lingering parts of ourselves that remain no matter which direction life takes.
Driven by anthemic hooks and diary-like honesty, Lost in the City’s latest release positions the band as an exciting new name within the modern pop punk revival, balancing youthful energy with genuine emotional weight.
