10. Plane Crash (Tin Cans & Car Tires, 1998)

“The intro to this is one of the most beautiful pieces I have ever heard…. Ever. It sound like some dramatic song from the 1920’s. What an exquisite band..”

9. New Hope For The New Year (Not Normal, 2020)

“Just discovered this song thanks to Spotify. The use of vibes/xylo makes my percussionist heart very happy. Great song too!! One of the most epic and phenomenal songs I’ve ever heard. A true masterpiece!”

8. Kyle’s Song (Warts and All, Vol. 1 (Live), 2001)

“My buddy started playing this in the car while we were blunt cruising and I tell you, it was one of those awesome moments that only happens every once in a while when time and space cease to matter and all that you feel is the music and the joy of sharing it with somebody cool.”

7. New York City (Dither, 2001)

6. Happy Hour Hero (Warts and All, Vol. 4 (Live), 1998)

4. Nebraska (Tin Cans & Car Tires, 1998)

“Damn this brings back memories from a few years ago where my friends and I were doing less than reputable activities and booling late at night while home from school for the summer. Listened to this song so much back then. 9-5 office job just isn’t as fun I gotta say.”

3. Silver Sun (No Guts, No Glory, 2014)

“I love it ! The beginning of the song is a slower version of the allman brothers “In memory of Elizabeth reed.” Especially at 3:48. That 2 guitar harmony that the Allman brothers made so popular. Then at 4:16 Pink Floyd’s “echoes.” at 5:07 a faster version of Neil young’s “cowgirl in the sand.” Moe has a great sound and unique way of bringing the 70s back.”

2. Okayalright (Warts and All, Vol. 2 (Live), 2002)

“Another full moe. concert from 2/23/02 in good ole ATL, and a pretty fine one at that. I like the addition of multi instrumentalist Jim Loughlin, who adds a new dimension to the bands sound. Not as much guitar / guitar action as their late ’90s material but makes up for it in other areas.”

1. In a Big Country (Dither, 2001)

“This is a fantastic cover of one of my favorite ’80s songs. Cool percussion intro. We are allowed to like a cover song even if it isn’t “better” than the original. Different is cool.”
