10. Part of Me (Made Up Mind, 2013)

“Part of Me” is a snappy upbeat song that sounds like it has an Allman Brother’s riff inserted into a gospel wailing rhythm that would feel at home in the New Orleans blues scene from 2013’s Made Up Mind.”

9. Midnight In Harlem (Revelator, 2011)

“It’s almost a religious experience listening to this band. An incredibly rare combination of musical proficiency, passion, and emotion. This might possibly be the perfect song!! I don’t see how one could get any better than this. Susan’s soulful singing, a solid rhythm section, and Derek just absolutely killing it on guitar. It gives me chills and tugs at my heart!!”

8. Everybody’s Talkin (Everybody’s Talkin, 2012)

“Everybody’s Talkin is the Tedeschi and Trucks Band’s first live album recorded in 2012 at music halls on the North East Coast of America and Canada. It’s a rhythmic romp ala from Harry Nillson’s “Midnight Cowboy” theme song with a Bill Withers solid beat to accompany the two guitars with the rest of the band playing in time to the beat of the bass drum.”

7. Darling Be Home Soon (Everybody’s Talkin, 2012)

“These two have got to be the coolest couple ever. To be able to work together, make today’s most amazing music, raise a family, and build the love of thousands upon thousands fans all over the world, all while apparently being humble, real human beings is such a rare, rare, rare thing. I wish them and theirs peace and happiness for all the days of their lives.”

6. Let Me Get By (Let Me Get By, 2016)

“Trucks just takes you on a journey in his solos. He starts off just making a couple noises and a minute later you’re jumping out of your seat begging for more. It’s just amazing”

5. Made Up Mind (Made Up Mind, 2013)

“Such a great empowering song! – You guys are a fantaatic band, because of an exceptional chemistry between SUSAN AND DEREK and also between the couple and the band members!! – Listened to an interview … the love between Susan and Derek could be felt each single moment”

4. Anyhow (Let Me Get By, 2016)

“Tight as a glove. They fit together so tight musically! All of them a perfect match, they seamlessly play together as one. What power this band possesses! Yet they float lightly as if on a breeze. And passion beyond imagination! How lucky we are to have them in this world with us, giving to us so much joy!”

3. Bound For Glory (Revelator, 2011)

“Every time I hear anything from this band, two words come to mind. You know, other than “Damn, these guys are phenomenal!” Those words are “Joy” and “Love.” From their songwriting, Susan’s otherworldly voice (and underrated guitar skills), Derek’s superhuman guitar skills (and was that really Duane’s old Les Paul he’s playing?) and on down the line.”

2. They Don’t Shine (Signs, 2019)

“Every new album of the band is perfect! And every new album is even better then the preceding was! “Signs” is is not only a masterpiece. It’s miraculous! Signs in 2019 produced “They Don’t Shine,” a driving rhythmic number that has a lot of good guitar breaks along with some really tight harmonizing.”

1. Shame (Signs, 2019)

““Shame” is from the Tedeschi Trucks Band’s 2019 Signs release and is ecological in subject matter and shakes a finger at humanity for its negligent abuse of the planet. The live version is twice as long as the studio version and provides ample opportunity for Trucks to jam as Tedeschi takes the role of torch singer.”
