Nice Boat announce debut album with urgent new single ‘Sick.’
Los Angeles duo Nice Boat have announced their debut album, I DON’T HAVE THE BANDWIDTH, arriving September 25, 2026 via Slouch Records, alongside the release of its opening track, ‘Sick.’
Originally born from a spontaneous idea between Dylan Silver and Mike Thrasher, the project has evolved into a distinctive blend of live percussion, bass-driven grooves and stripped-back instrumentation. Rather than adhering to a specific style, the pair favour instinctive songwriting, creating music that feels immediate, unpredictable and emotionally charged.
The new single, ‘Sick.’, captures that philosophy in just over two minutes, delivering a burst of restless energy built around hypnotic rhythms and infectious momentum. Serving as the album’s introduction, the track offers an enticing preview of the duo’s raw, DIY approach.
Recorded, engineered, produced and written entirely by the band in their own garages, I DON’T HAVE THE BANDWIDTH reflects Nice Boat’s hands-on creative process from start to finish. With ‘Sick.’, the duo make a memorable first impression ahead of what promises to be an exciting debut record.
