Canadian five-piece Not The Author come roaring into their next chapter with ‘Cause and Effect’, the first glimpse of their forthcoming EP.

Formed in Sudbury, Ontario in late 2023, the band bring together the weight of heavy rock and post-hardcore with punk and metal influences, balancing crushing guitars against an instinct for enormous melodic hooks. ‘Cause and Effect’ captures that combination brilliantly, hitting hard without sacrificing the kind of chorus designed to stick around long after the final note.
