15. The Thrill (Porter Robinson Remix) (Between II Worlds, 2015)

“The arpeggio and then how it immediately stops and starts again is just breathtaking. I also just love how the synth of it sounds.”

14. Hear the Bells (Worlds, 2014)

“I LOVE Porter Robinson, all of his songs are damn near perfect, but lately Hear the Bells has been really getting to me.”

13. Lionhearted (Worlds, 2014)

“This kid is talented as hell, he’s figured out the type of artist he is and it shows. He’s separated himself from other EDM artist and dam, its so fresh and enjoyable.”

11. Easy (Damage Control, 2013)

“The mashup with sea of voices and this song is to die for! Easy is one of my favorite tracks from Porter Robinson and Matt Zo like jamming to.”

10. Spitfire (Spitfire, 2011)

“When people talk about Porter’s older work, I don’t ever hear anyone talk about this song, even though it is one of his best. I absolutely love the dramatic trance-like buildup and the complicated, intense complextro drop.”

9. Goodbye to a World (Worlds, 2014)

” guess the one that stuck with me the most is “Goodbye To A World” (maybe because it’s the last song on the album? I don’t know.) It’s just an all-around beautiful work of art. It’s sad, but hopeful. The production, like the rest of the album, is masterful. I just love this song so much.”

8. Something Comforting (Something Comforting, 2020)

“I know of Sad Machine and his other works as Virtual Self, but none of them hit that right note or beat for me. There were covers that I could listen to, but they weren’t his so I was somewhat disconnected from PR until this came out. This one, I feel like I can listen to forever.”

7. Sad Machine (Worlds, 2014)

“Amazing song, use of both natural vocals and a Vocaloid bank really sold the song for me. The music itself is very catchy and upbeat, while the narrative of the song seems very reminiscent of a sci-fi love story one might find in an anime series about a girl robot/machine, human boy, and possibly time travel from what the lyrics imply.”

6. Divinity (Worlds, 2014)

“I always imagine something when I listen to this song, a boy, and a pregnant girl, in love, surrounded by darkness ready to end their forbidden love, the boy wants to sacrifice himself for her, and their child, she knows she can’t argue, so she sings a song that she sang to him for all these years while they grew up, as the boy uses all his energy to explode into light, shredding the darkness, but leaving himself a husk, and at the end, she holds his dying body, and sings to him until he’s gone”

5. Get Your Wish (Get Your Wish, 2020)

“This song’s message is everything to me. That creative struggle Porter’s overcoming is too relatable. Easily one of my new all time favorite songs. Thank you for always staying authentic, Porter.”

4. Look at the Sky (Look at the Sky, 2021)

“Every time I listen to this song, I tear up. It has made me realize im not a complete failure, and it has let me known that i can do great things. It gave me the motivation to do things that which i didnt have the motivation for before.”

3. Language (Serious Beats 71, 2012)

“Language is one of my favorite EDM tunes at the moment. I believe EDM is for DANCING and feeling the music, not for trying to decipher what the artist is singing. The limited but very clear vocals accompanying his music just add another layer to the already heart (and fist!) pumping beat. Well done!”

2. Sea of Voices (Worlds, 2014)

“This is the most beautiful song I have ever heard in my life, and I listen to a lot of music. Every time I listen to it, I just stare off into space, feeling an emotion that I cannot describe. The booming and sudden climax is amazingly powerful, and the lyrics send chills down my spine no matter how many times I listen to this masterpiece.”

1. Shelter (FIFA 17 Soundtrack, 2016)

“Porter Robinson is a mad lad for getting his song animated and it having this sad of a backstory that levels up to every sad anime I’ve watched, I never expected that I would shed a tear from a 6-minute Anime Music Video.”
