PROFESSIONAL 101 enter a futuristic new world on ‘Frank of Steel’

London rock outfit PROFESSIONAL 101 continue building towards their debut album with the release of muscular new single ‘Frank of Steel’.

Arriving after the band recently shared the Electric Brixton stage with IDLES and Kid Bookie, the track wraps questions of human responsibility inside a futuristic narrative. Rather than simply exploring technology itself, ‘Frank of Steel’ considers the choices behind what humanity creates, and what happens when those creations are shaped for destructive purposes.

Vocalist Mani Waldner explains that the song asks how people might “shape, control, and potentially weaponise” their creations, while questioning which aspects of humanity we choose to pass onto them.

The single previews debut album This Is The Sound, arriving November 6. Produced and mixed by Grammy-winning producer Danton Supple, the record looks set to bottle the intensity PROFESSIONAL 101 have developed through years on the road.
