12. Ali

“I knew it was going to be about the GOAT, and these guys made sure they bought the pain. Awesome intro on all fronts. Chorus is very catchy. Excellent heavy part that follows first chorus. At 2:42 mark, you get one great groove after another. Just pure brutality.”

11. Autem

“Starts again progresive, and it progress into a solid track that has one of the strongest choirus of all the album. A perfect mix between brutality and melody. Love this song a lot. Just amazing. Derick sings clear during some parts and he sounds just great.”

10. Means to an End

“Just listen to Means To An End, an incredibly aggressive slab of bullshit-free metal. Vocalist Derrick Green sounds like he’s going to burst a vein as he roars his way through the addiction-themed Last Time.”

9. Isolation

“Isolation” gives you such a burst of pure thrash, it sends you straight back to the late 80’s, I couldn’t ask for a better opener to this album. ISOLATION is a super heavy thrash metal track that has a cool intro too. Super way to start the album. Also they made a video clip for this one that we could see before the album was released.”

8. Last Time

“First single I heard from from the new album. Thought it was ok. It’s an aggressive track but more filler than killer until the bridge. Good lyrics with a strong bridge section, keeping things more interesting.”

7. Guardians of Earth

“This next part kicks off good with this strong track. Progresive touches in some of the guitar riffs. Again i hear CHAOS AD in this track. Gives the album a break from brutality with some acoustic sounds. Really turns into an epic and rightfully so with a title like “Guardians of Earth.”

6. Fear, Pain, Chaos, Suffering

“FEAR; PAIN; CHAOS; SUFFERING ends the album very progresive, very experimental with woman vocals, but very cool. A special song to end this very special fifteens studio album by SEPULTURA.”

5. The Pentagram

“THE PENTAGRAM is a kicking ass instrumental song that never gets borred. Super. It has straight forward thrash metal riffings, progresive riffs etc…Amazing. Starts off like a Slipknot track, but transforms to a instrumental onslaught. Riffs and drumming is sensational.”

4. Capital Enslavement

“Capital Enslavement” shows the first break from pure thrash, with the folk and tribal inspirations. The progressive elements and the song structure are so tantalizing and create a soundscape that lets the listener find something new each listen.”

3. Quadra

“Another mellow start with a Brazilian mixed with a Medieval Europe feel. Nice to hear the singers voice. Wish we got more of that somewhere else on the album. Great solo. “Quadra” is well produced, featuring a powerful and detailed sound production, which suits the material perfectly.”

2. Agony of Defeat

“A more intense focus on what makes modern Sepultura successful would do them well, whereas the quality and songwriting is up and down with the experimentation. Agony of Defeat is a good example, which has some interesting and well-executed ideas, but doesn’t really feel like a Sepultura song nor does it fit on the album.”

1. Raging Void

“Proggy and aggressive. Reminds me of Death’s “Sound of Perseverance.” Awesome rhythms and cool vocals. RAGING VOID some parts in this song reminds me of MASTODON,specialy the way of singing of Derrick. To be honest he does a real fine job on all this album. The instrumentation is a little weird at places.”
