5. Arrows (2021)

Arrows - song by Red Fang | Spotify

“It’s their best album since their debut, capturing an energy that was lacking on previous efforts. The songs here are simply more memorable and diverse, brimming with riffs and adventurous vocals.”

4. Only Ghosts (2016)

Only Ghosts (Deluxe Version) - Album by Red Fang | Spotify

“With their fourth album, lightening the burden of mud and alcoholism, and focusing a bit more on melody and arrangements, the band sounds involving even listened in a car radio (not so much in the living room or through the headphones, they have not written a flabby album!). The skeleton of their music is always made by extremely dynamic distorted riffs and heavy metal blows, yet there is a slight psychedelic touch, almost garage tasted, which infiltrates among these ones (and this is emphasized by the reverb of Aaron Beam clean vocals).”

3. Red Fang (2009)

2. Whales And Leeches (2013)

Whales and Leeches (Deluxe Version) - Album by Red Fang | Spotify

“Great melodic stoner rock with some quite heavy riffing occurring. Some of the tracks are actually quite close to stoner punk too. At times it gets a bit boring and repeptitive, but that’s just a few tracks, that are almost a bit filler like. For most parts it’s really good stoner rock though where a kind of sleazy vocal parts gets very nicely mixed into the riffing, just to be completed with some stonery melody bits after the riffs. The production somehow feels a bit dull and not all too supportive of the bands sound.”

1. Murder The Mountains (2011)

Murder The Mountains (Deluxe Edition) | Red Fang

“Pretty great modern hard rock album. It has addictive riffs, great cool vocals, loud hooks and it is simply a really fun album to listen to. It doesnt really add anything new to the genre, but it should prove to be a good listen for fans of the genre. It reminds me a bit of Mastodon if they had dropped all of the technical flourishes that they place in their songs.”
