Repeat unleash claustrophobic punk anthem ‘Day After Day’

Swedish trio Repeat return with their heaviest track yet, ‘Day After Day’, the third single from their upcoming ‘Celebrate’ EP. Where previous singles simmered, this one boils over. Powered by tight, relentless rhythms and a rising sense of dread, it captures the bleak absurdity of modern repetition: wake, grind, collapse, repeat.

Gritty basslines and snarling guitars spiral into a wall of frustration as Repeat reflect on carrying unseen burdens and hiding rage behind a blank face. “It’s about the weight you carry, the frustration you try to hide,” the band explains. “But also about recognising it – and pushing back.”

Recorded at Studio Sickan in Malmö, ‘Day After Day’ finds Repeat expanding their melodic instincts without losing any of their raw nerve. It’s both a scream of resistance and a mirror held up to the pressures that wear us down, one song at a time.
