seeTrees find contentment in simplicity on ‘All These Things’
LA indie-rock outfit seeTrees return with their new single ‘All These Things’.
Built around relaxed guitars and an understated, nostalgic warmth, the track considers the value of slowing down and questioning the constant pursuit of possessions and achievement. Instead, frontman Drew Lawrence turns his attention towards relationships, presence and the satisfaction that can come from appreciating what is already around you.
Lawrence, who previously played with Americana group The Dales and co-wrote Christina Perri’s six-times platinum hit ‘Jar of Hearts’, formed seeTrees in 2024 after connecting with LA drummer and producer Luke Adams.
Together, the pair have developed a sound informed by classic American guitar music while retaining a contemporary indie-rock character. Touchstones including Tom Petty, The War on Drugs and Wilco can be heard in the project’s combination of melodic songwriting and spacious instrumentation.
