Slowly Slowly return with explosive new single ‘Sacrosaint’
Australian rock outfit Slowly Slowly have returned with ‘Sacrosaint’, their first new material since 2025 album Forgiving Spree.
The new single finds frontman Ben Stewart shifting his songwriting outwards, confronting a growing sense of social instability after previously focusing heavily on personal reflection. The song considers the institutions, relationships and values people assume will always remain intact, and what happens when those foundations begin to deteriorate through neglect.
Musically, ‘Sacrosaint’ matches that anxiety with an urgent, increasingly explosive performance, combining Slowly Slowly’s pop-punk energy with the emotional weight that has characterised their later work.
‘Sacrosaint’ follows Forgiving Spree, which reached number one on the Australian Album Chart. Slowly Slowly will also return to Good Things Festival this December, joining a lineup featuring Limp Bizkit, Simple Plan, The All-American Rejects, Neck Deep and Bilmuri.
