6. The Black Crown (2011)

“One of the best albums that suicide silence has released. It combines deathcore and a lot of nu metal influences to create a very interesting sound. Don’t get me wrong, it still contains the raw aggression of the earlier releases, but adds some actual diversity to Suicide Silence’s sound. This was a really interesting direction and it would have been interesting to see how the band progressed if things had turned out differently.”

5. Become The Hunter (2020)

“Absolutely brilliant return to form for the band, heavy, unrelenting, vicious and just all round badass! Reminds me of the you can’t stop me album and it’s just as good. Its an extremely dark and tests the limits of Eddie’s vocal range (he is a particular highlight here). Don’t think that all of the experimentation is gone however, the last few tracks definitely go to some slower more sinister areas and it works really well.”

4. Suicide Silence (2017)

“Deathcore Mixed With Clean Vocals is still Deathcore. Many have nixed this album because there are clean, non-screaming and non-shouting vocals in it. That may be the case, but this album is not something my parents would listen to and say, “It’s got a nice beat, I can dance to it…I give it an 8.” I feel if people would listen to this album, they will see a dark side they did not know existed. This is good metal. Eddie and Chris and Mark and Alex and Dan are playing naturally, it seems to me. Dan’s licks on the bass are unlike what are on any of the other albums. I can get as excited about all of the songs on the album as I can any of the tunes on The Cleansing”

3. No Time To Bleed (2009)

“It is the inventive, grinding riffs, technical leads, and screaming solos of guitarists Mark Heylmum and Chris Garza and the excellent drumming of Alex Lopez (who proves himself to be a very underrated skinsman, here) that are the two main reasons why 2009’s “No Time To Bleed” is such a great follow-up to Suicide Silence’s 2007’s debut, “The Cleansing.” The songwriting is improved greatly, as well, as the band fuse-in substantially more variety into the mix this time around, thus creating quite a few more standout tracks and individually memorable moments. Top it all off with Dan Kenny’s fat, prominently grumbling bass tone, frontman Mitch Lucker’s very potent vocal stylings — which range from low death metal growls to freakishly high black metal shrieks to brutal, goregrind-worthy pig squeals — and a crisp and thunderous production job, and the end result is Suicide Silence’s masterpiece.”

2. The Cleansing (2007)

“This band is brutal. You listen to their songs and everything is just out of control. I saw them live and they are as heavy as anyone out there. Unanswered is an absolute masterpiece and it questions religion. Price Of Beauty, The Fallen, and No Pity For A Coward are all excellent songs. These guys are deathcore at it’s finest and this is a monster debut. I listen to this album at least once a week and I love it. If you’re not hip you should be”

1. You Can’t Stop Me (2014)

“Suicide Silence does it again with this beautifully mastered album! Every song on this album is great. IMO it’s the best studio album they have put out. You can tell they put a lot of sweat, blood and tears into making this album not only possible for the fans but to continue Mitch’s legacy.”
