3. The Marcus King Band (2016)
“It amazes me how many really good bands exist that are out touring and releasing excellent albums/cds that for some reason are not well known. The Marcus King Band is one of them. I’ve heard said that they are very popular in the southern parts of the country but where I’m from in the north east not as much.”
2. Soul Insight (2014)
“A superb album! I could not believe my ears. Brilliant guitars and musicianship all around! This CD (I’m an old school kinda guy) will blow you away! If you read up a bit, Marcus is/was 20 when he made this masterwork,….can you imagine how brilliant and refined he’ll be in another 20? I’m sure I’ll be takin’ the dirt nap by then but, ohh my word. Seriously fellow b/r ockers, give this a listen! ENJOY fellow blues lovers!”
1. Carolina Confessions (2018)
“I think this CD is incredible. The sound is full, the musical grooves are outstanding, the lyrics are good – in all ways it seems like the Marcus King Band has grown and become better. Highly recommend this to anyone who enjoyed either of the first two albums, or is a fan or the Allman Brothers Band or Warren Haynes. Looking forward to hearing more from this band!”
