The Marcus King Band - The Marcus King Band

ā€œIt amazes me how many really good bands exist that are out touring and releasing excellent albums/cds that for some reason are not well known. The Marcus King Band is one of them. Iā€™ve heard said that they are very popular in the southern parts of the country but where Iā€™m from in the north east not as much.ā€

ā€œA superb album! I could not believe my ears. Brilliant guitars and musicianship all around! This CD (Iā€™m an old school kinda guy) will blow you away! If you read up a bit, Marcus is/was 20 when he made this masterwork,ā€¦.can you imagine how brilliant and refined heā€™ll be in another 20? Iā€™m sure Iā€™ll be takinā€™ the dirt nap by then but, ohh my word. Seriously fellow b/r ockers, give this a listen! ENJOY fellow blues lovers!ā€

ā€œI think this CD is incredible. The sound is full, the musical grooves are outstanding, the lyrics are good ā€“ in all ways it seems like the Marcus King Band has grown and become better. Highly recommend this to anyone who enjoyed either of the first two albums, or is a fan or the Allman Brothers Band or Warren Haynes. Looking forward to hearing more from this band!ā€
