10. Sometimes I Cry

“To me, Chris Stapleton is generational artist. Amazing, bluesy voice, maybe the best I’ve ever heard. I don’t even LIKE country music. I’m a child of the 70/80s (AC/DC, Motley Crue, Zeppelin, Stones, Metallica, Van Halen, Def Leppard, etc.). I absolutely love that music.”

9. The Devil Named Music

“I mostly can’t stand country music; and popular country music mostly makes me throw up in my mouth. But I love listening to this guy. So emotional and connected. Stapleton’s music is like a simple recipe made with the most amazing high-quality ingredients. You just have to relish it.”

8. Might As Well Get Stoned

“Chris Stapleton is fairly young man but surely an old soul at heart who has an amazing voice. While he has been an excellent songwriter for many other headliners for a long time this album finally pushed him to the top and gave him the recognition he so deserved. A family man whose wife shares the stage with him. This album became one of my most cherished when it was released last year.”

7. When the Stars Come Out

“If you like Chris Stapleton you will love this album. There are very few albums that I would buy because usually there are only one or two good songs on them. This album was different.”

6. Nobody to Blame

“He has the voice, the songs and the style of a true Outlaw Country artist, and I suppose that’s because he is one. The singles that are getting the most attention aren’t even the best songs on this album, even though there are no bad songs on this album.”

5. Parachute

“What’s not to like! Very talented musician, singer, writer. The back up band is talented also. His wife’s voice is very complementary to his when singing harmonies. I understand why he won so many awards.”

4. Fire Away

“Can’t say enough about this guy, or his wife Morgane for that matter. This is no BroCo Luke Bryan Trashville crap. Stapleton can sing the balls off a brass monkey and just as easily sing them right back on. “

3. More of You

“Extraordinary writing, excellent musicality and a magnificent soulful, gravely, strong voice. Such talent. Story telling and truthfulness ring through every tune. There’s not much this man could sing that I wouldn’t love.”

2. Traveller

“Traveller is a tour de force by Stapleton, who has created a soul-infused country sound that is positively addicting. His music has guts and a power that is missing in most of today’s top 40 country.”

1. Tennessee Whiskey

“I first heard Chris Stapleton sing Tennessee Whiskey and I loved the voice and the words to the song. I had to have the CD as all the songs were so meaningful and pure. Stapleton has a quality you don’t find too often where he can sing a song and feel he is right in front of you telling you a story.”
