Unbreakable Songs Ranked
Unbreakable is the fifteenth studio album by German hard rock band Scorpions, released in 2004. In this release, Scorpions return to the style of music of their most successful albums, after experimenting with many different concepts and influences in the 1990s. This was the first album with Paweł Mąciwoda on bass guitar. Despite critical acclaim and extensive touring of the album, Unbreakable was not a big hit on the charts. After the success of the cross-over album Moment of Glory recorded with Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and of the unplugged album Acoustica, Scorpions reunited in studio with long-time producer Dieter Dierks to record two songs for the compilation album Bad for Good: The Very Best of Scorpions. The songs “Bad for Good” and “Cause I Love You” came from the band’s archives and this was the first time Scorpions collaborated with Dierks in 14 years. Here are all of the Unbreakable songs ranked.

13. Can You Feel It
“The song is average a nice song to be kept on this album. What happens is that James didnt do much and again he ruined some parts of this song with his backing vocals. But Klaus did some good job with changing the song’s tonality aka Beatlesish and Rudy’s riffs gets this song to a better improvment than its own composer could think of. So…yes. This song is acceptable. And I will want to save it as a backup mp3 if you were to ask me.”
12. She Said
“The song is nicely written by Klaus to the point that Matthias throws in his PA-PA PA-PA licks that are nothing else but a repeated lick used on his bonus track TOO FAR which is again…another joke in terms of musical taste and harmony.”
11. This Time
“The intro lick is cool and sounds as if this would be Steve Vai playin an instrumental song. I mean…this song could eventually grow inside of you if you listen to it more times. To me…and thats an honest opinion…this is a joke. 🙂 Matthias cant sound close to Rudy’s compositions…they are very far appart from writting songs…even though they wrote together STAND ME UP.”
10. Remember the Good Times
” I like the lyrics of this song very much. and melody was again forced onto them too much. the chorus is better though while James is improving when singing as a backing vocalist …but i think is because Rudy is singing louder than him and he has a constant singer next to him or he is afraid he would get fired. I mean JAMES is not a scorpions vocalist period. “

9. My City My Town
“Song starts nicely with an old time heard in the past riff by Rudy….then the song will sound as if Chris De Burgh has came and started to sing it. This song is definitely not good written musically as lyrically. ANd I can tell that first were the lyrics created then the melody was worked on afterall.”
8. Love ’em Or Leave ’em
“I must confess the Scorpions lost me for several years with their change and sound. On this one, the Scorps seem to recall that they are a 70’s/80’s band and make an effort to go back to strong soundwriting. There are really no songs that stand out on this but it has it’s moments and is worth picking up if you ever liked the band.”
7. Borderline
“Klaus lost his high pitch and cant hold onto the notes. omg omg omg. I know. He is getting older. But from production point of view this song should NEVER seen the daylight on an studio album. Again…this is a B-side song. And thats just as good due to the strong riffs of Rudy.”
6. Maybe I Maybe You
“Yes very nice vocals. Klaus seem he still have the high pitch afterall. Just needs some hot tea and in shape training. At his age…he can still do it even though he has family and other things to do. The music should be a priority for level 1 and high demand…just because once recorded will stay in time…forever.”

5. Someday Is Now
“Its a long time scorpions secret that takes to be revealed. If ths song is not picked up or heard in the past by Klaus and the lyrics are not by him…Klaus wont play it the best. Klaus can only sing songs which he wrote lyrically as well as knows songs such as Ave Maria etc. A co-written song is ok…as long as Klaus reviewed it. This is James Kottak’s song…wtf hahaha…very poor sung. And I dont think is because Klaus cant sing. He just didnt put effort for it. ANd he is right. If that wouldnt be my song 100% I wouldnt put more than 10% into it.”
4. New Generation
“First song “New Generation” its a typical Schenker psychodelic songs. Very strong riffs and melody. Definitely must be a main title. Kinda Surprising that this band still makes good cds so far into their carrier. Hard and Good album”
3. Blood Too Hot
“This song starts with the old time recognizable scorps riff…But then gets melow as if it will not be something special at the beginning. WTF is going on with James back-vocals. PLEASE dont let the drummer be your backing vocalist. Hire some professionals…please…This song is ruined due to the poor chorus. Its like there is something missing…the vocals of Klaus are not strong and the backing vocals of James and Rudy are very backwards…and some Klaus screaming with overdubs…wont create anything sensational. WASTE of money and instruments for this song. Not even mentioning the time…their, mine and yours.”
2. Through My Eyes
“This song…could have been…such a 2nd still loving you and I mean a nicer one….but the melody gets ruined by the chorus. OH NO. again and again…what happened with that YOUNG producer. where are the young guys. the old guys will ruin it. the song is nice…but the production for Kalus vocals during the chorus is UNACCEPTABLE….you cant do sh it like this on studio recordings. For God’s sake. You waste time of the good composers out there. I mean..if I was Rudy…I would be very pissed off…someone to ruin my best riff and compositions.”
1. Deep And Dark
” This is probably the most powerful track so far. The sensation is unique and very good written. Thought this was a Meine or Schenker composition. BY FAR…i was surprised that Matthias wrote this song. So far. No comments. Either Matthias is getting better in writing songs or he is definitely a good and coming out of the dark composer. Just for this song and the main title…its worth buying this cd…so far.”
