Vancouver singer-songwriter young friend has unveiled details of his second full-length album New Entertainment, arriving on November 6 via Nettwerk, alongside the release of its lead single ‘Miracle’.

The new track marks a confident step forward for JUNO-nominated artist Drew Tarves, pairing expansive guitar-driven arrangements with the candid lyricism that has become central to his songwriting. While ‘Miracle’ celebrates the quiet moments that can strengthen a relationship, it also reflects on how even the most meaningful connections can change over time.

Produced by longtime collaborator David Marinelli, the forthcoming album embraces a live, analogue recording approach, with Tarves and his band developing songs together in rehearsal before capturing them in the studio. The result is a more immediate, organic sound inspired by classic rock records while retaining young friend’s introspective perspective.
