7. The Hits: Chapter One (2001)

“”The Hits–Chapter 1” is an awesome compilation album full of all the Backstreet Boys’ singles from their US debut album, “Backstreet Boys”, to their latest disc, “Black & Blue”. Yes, this hits collection is a little early but didn’t the Beatles make greatest hits collections while they were still making records? And what about Madonna–she’s already made TWO greatest hits albums and she’s still going pretty strong.”

6. Never Gone (2005)

“This album is simply breath-taking in its quality. If you want and enjoy genuinely superb quality singing along with tasteful, fun, well-written, and mature songs, this album is perfect for you. I actually enjoyed every single song on this album which is a rarity for me when it comes to albums.”

5. Black & Blue (2000)

“Black & Blue is, in my opinion, a very underrated album. You have up beat fun BSB with ‘The Call’, ‘Get another Boyfriend’, and ‘Everyone’, and then you have the smooth songs that we all love the harmonies on with, ‘Shape of my heart’, ‘Yes I will’, ‘More than that’, and ‘Time’. This album also shows some of the boys songwriting abilities, which is always a plus. Great album!”

4. Unbreakable (2007)

“This is one of my favorite BSB albums. The songs have the mid-tempo “I Want it That Way” feel and the lyrics reflect that the BSB are men now. This album is great for car trips and sounds best played all the way through. You can tell they took care of how the songs flow into each other. As always, the singing is top-notch.”

3. Backstreet’s Back (1997)

“I love the Backstreet Boys and all of their music. Yes, they continue to make amazing music today, but the old stuff is just nice to hear . . . clean you room, do some laundry, and jam to “Everybody”! Backstreet’s Back is an amazing album, one of their bests, with great dance songs, and sweet love songs. It’s great for anyone.”

2. Backstreet Boys (1996)

“This is the album that made me fall in love with their music. I prefer the old stuff because it was more organic than today’s processed and manufactured music. Definitely a must listen to for all BSB fans!”

1. Millennium (1999)

“Good rhythm and great-sounding music, but would not recommend it for your teenager. Any songs that suggest sex before the marriage commitment are flat wrong, and being sexually active before entering into a marriage bond will likely cause a marriage to dissolve within six months to a year. Or the person(s) will never enter into a marriage bond at all and go from one illicit relationship to another.”
