Blink-182 Self Titled Album Songs Ranked
The untitled fifth studio album by the American rock band Blink-182 referred to on digital streaming services as Blink-182, (stylized in all lowercase) was released on November 18, 2003, by Geffen Records. Following their ascent to stardom and success of their prior two releases, the trio was compelled to take a break and subsequently participated in various side projects (Box Car Racer and Transplants). When they regrouped, they felt inspired to approach song structure and arrangements differently on their next effort together. Fans were generally split regarding the band’s “new” direction, but the album proved successful, selling 2.2 million copies in the United States. It received positive reviews, with critics welcoming its change in tone. Lead singles “Feeling This” and “I Miss You” received the most radio airplay out of the four singles released, and peaked high on Billboard charts. The worldwide touring schedule, which saw the band travel to Japan and Australia, also found the three performing for troops stationed in the Middle East. The album was the band’s last recording with longtime producer Jerry Finn and their final original material before a four-year-long hiatus. It is also their longest studio album to date, clocking in at 49 minutes. Here are all of Blink-182 Self Titled Album songs ranked.

10. Go
“This reminds me of the old Blink, back in the `Dude Ranch’/’Cheshire Cat’ era. It has this very punk feel to it, but overall a very good song. Punk, Mark sings it, Tom helps in the chorus, really well done.”
9. Obvious
“This could have gone on the Boxcar record. Good song, very dark. I love the dual vocals on the verse. Another punk song, one of their only ones on the album, sang by Tom, except the chorus, obviously Mark, great.”
8. Asthenia
“Tom wrote this song, and he was thinking about an astronaut in outer space, and wanting to come back. It’s another solid song by these guys. Good, takes a while to start but once it gets going it’s good. Tom song”

5. Always
“This is another amazing track. The pre-chorus is really calming, and the chorus is fast yet gentle. I love Travis’s drums during the chorus, and he uses a cabassa which sounds amazing. In the notes, Mark mentions how towards the ends, there four basses playing at the same time, and one of them is made to sound like a keyboard. It’s amazing.”

” It starts with a letter its letter which Mark’s granddad wrote to his grandmother in World War I, and Joan Thalley reads it with so much emotion. The song it self is absolutely amazing. Its one of the best song on the album. It starts so heavy and breaks into this amazing verse. The chorus is a dual between Tom and Mark, its amazing. The song on the whole is about paranoia.”
