CIX Albums Ranked

CIX (Korean: 씨아이엑스, romanized: Ssi-a-i-ekseu, pronounced as C-I-X, short for Complete in X) is a five-member South Korean boy band formed by C9 Entertainment in 2019, consisting of Jinyoung, BX, Seunghun, Hyunsuk and Yonghee. The group debuted on July 23, 2019, with their first EP titled Hello Chapter 1: Hello, Stranger. Bae Jin-young is a former winning contestant of Mnet’s Produce 101 Season 2. As a 10-month old trainee representing C9 Entertainment, he successfully finished at 10th place in the final rankings and earned his spot in the winning group Wanna One, notorious for being monster rookies in South Korea. Following the disbandment of Wanna One, Bae Jinyoung debuted as a soloist in 2019 with his self-composed album Hard to Say Goodbye, and held his first Asia fan-meeting tour “I’M YOUNG” in connection with his debut, featuring eleven shows. 4. Pinky Swear

“The perfect concept for this period. They look so fresh and full of energy. Hopefully one day they get more attention than now which they should have received a long time ago”

3. Hello Chapter 2: Hello, Strange Place

“The rest of the songs on the album relate to bullying, society’s expectations of the youth, and mental health. The story films they released gave a background on the album’s themes, so it would be strange if they added a song about a relationship.”

2. Hello Chapter 1: Hello, Stranger

“Cant even begin to explain how I felt hearing Byounggon’s solo rap in IMAGINE…. It felt like forever but I regret no single moment of waiting for his debut. He just keeps getting BETTER & BETTER… Gon truly did not come to play this time. Show the world your talent boi, the debut stage is finally yours!!”

1. ‘OK’ Prologue: Be OK

“After the release of 4 Mini-Album from 2019 to 2021, the group composed of BX, Seunghun, Yonghee, Bae Jinyoung, and Hyunsuk, is coming back with their first full album ‘Be Ok’. Through this album, we get a side of the group we already encountered during previous projects, mixed with a summer-ish feeling to end the season.”
