Cold is an American rock band, from Jacksonville, Florida, formed in 1986 by lead singer and rhythm guitarist Scooter Ward, drummer Sam McCandless, bassist Jeremy Marshall and lead guitarist Matt Loughran. 10. Beautiful Life (The Things We Can’t Stop, 2019)

“What a great album!! Cold is always evolving and sound better than ever. I have been a fan since day one. The first album was good but they seem to get better with every new one.”

9. Better Human (The Things We Can’t Stop, 2019)

“Much like myself, they have mellowed over the years, but still have a good heavy sound. Really enjoy this album and look forward to seeing them on tour.”

8. Cure My Tragedy (Year of the Spider, 2003)

“Cure my Tragedy is a sad depressing song with uplifting undertones, nice melody. A great song. Its quiet in the beginning, but then it somewhat explodes into a beautiful chorus. Scooter’s vocals are great on this song. I also love the guitar part near the end where he goes on the small strings.”

7. Don’t Belong (Year of the Spider, 2003)

“I really like this song. I really like the chorus of this song. I like the message behind this song. Listen to and and you’ll know what I mean. Good rhythm at the beginning, a lá Jeremy. The moans at the end of the chorus add a nice mood to the overall vibe the song gives-“that I don’t belong/ Please don’t ever tell the world that I don’t belong.” Very eerie guitar sounds in the verse; it’s something like a squeaking, popping sound almost.”

6. End Of The World (13 Ways to Bleed on Stage, 2000)

“Man for some odd reason I listen to this song when I feel like I’ve accomplished something that happens a lot even though that has nothing to do with the song or what it’s about just for me personally”

5. Everyone Dies (Cold, 1998)

“This band has to be the most underrated band in existence. Not a single negative comment on any cold videos and yet they are so under the radar. Scooter’s voice is one of the best in the music industry.”

4. Give (Cold, 1998)

“Scooter Ward wrote this song about someone who was unwilling to reciprocate in a relationship. The lyrics, “Why do you give away, well I can imagine” could be referring to a person giving themselves away and how easily they do so.”

3. Go Away (Cold, 1998)

“This song is a message to the many people – including record company executives – who offered unsolicited advice to Cold as they were coming up: “Go Away!” They have no interest in hearing how they should writer songs or live their lives.”

2. Gone Away (WWF Tough Enough 2 (clean), 2002)

“I absolutely LOVE this song. iIthink it has an amazing beat and it just an all around purely great song! scooter ward’s daughter is very lucky to have this beautiful song about her! “

1. Stupid Girl (Year of the Spider, 2003)

“The first single from the album. Co-written by one of my main guys Rivers Cuomo of Weezer. This song is addictive, and is easy to see why its the first single. Cold’s first single off the album, heavy song, and has an awesome chorus, a lot of people can definately relate to this song.”
