FIESTAR Songs Ranked
Fiestar was a South Korean girl group formed by Kakao M. Before the group’s debut, they released a duet with label mate IU titled “Sea of Moonlight” for LOEN Entertainment’s collective label album. The track ended up being a domestic success and entered the top ten of the Gaon Digital Chart, earning the group attention before their debut. The group officially debuted on August 31, 2012 with the single album “Vista” and six members: Cao Lu, Jei, Linzy, Hyemi, Cheska and Yezi. The group released their second single album “We Don’t Stop” on November 9, this time to mixed reviews. On March 20, 2014, member Cheska officially left the group. In July of that same year, they released a song titled “One More” to backlash and controversy due to its supposedly risqué lyrics, the song ended up being banned from broadcast by MBC, and the group had to change the lyrics for their follow up promotions. Here are all of FIESTAR songs ranked.

10. I Don’t Know (Curious, 2013)
“I’m happy that in Kpop you can see this type of music. Like the cutesy type and bright and colourful. In North America, this would be called children music.. You wouldn’t see things like this anywhere. I just really love how Kpop touches in all elements of music from rap to dubstep to cute stuff like this.”
9. You’re Pitiful (Black Label, 2015)
“The girls will most definitely never get together again but it would be cool if this song charts after all this year’s because it’s annoying how an amazing song like this wasn’t a major hit”
8. Cider (Yezi solo) (Cider, 2016)
“I heard this song by accident on spotify (bc of that “weekly discover” thingie) and I just- the first ten seconds were enough for me to know that I just found my favorite female rapper. She’s insane.”

7. Mirror (A Delicate Sense, 2016)
“I love that feeling when you decide to listen to underrated groups just for a change and find out their music is amazing and suits your taste more than the public-friendly, pop songs that bigger, well-known groups tend to put out”
6. Apple Pie (APPLE PIE, 2016)
“Swinging back to pure pop for the first time in years, Apple Pie’s synth-based playfulness skirts right past novelty to deliver a satisfyingly sweet single with just a touch of sourness at its center.”
5. Vista (Vista, 2012)
“I remember seeing this on the television for the first time, I was so hooked. Fiestar was one of first groups that I got into so I didn’t know all the right terms and so I didn’t know that this was their debut. I can’t believe that I’ve been their fan since the beginning, and I can’t be more proud of myself for actually acknowledging real talent.”

4. We Don’t Stop (We Don’t Stop, 2012)
“This is one of the best K-Pop songs ever. There isn’t another song that sounds like this one ’cause they were courageous enough to step out of the K-Pop mainstream-box and do something people will immediately be identified as being a song by FIESTAR.”
3. Anck Su Namum (Anck Su Namum, 2017)
“A truly bonkers mash-up of hip-hop and instrumental experimentation, the daring Anck Su Namum plays its Egyptian theme to the hilt. The droning hook at its center is one for the ages, unexpectedly potent even as it pushes back on expectations of what a chorus should be.”
2. Sea Of Moonlight (with IU) (Sea Of Moonlight, 2012)
“The song is adorable, although yeah, the instrumentals does remind you of Take on Me, but the song is still different and lovely and sweet. IU’s voice really suits the chorus! Plus her voice is powerful! There’s another version of this song on fiestar’s mini album”
1. One More (One More, 2014)
“Driven by its impossibly catchy vocal hook, the summery One More is a transitional moment for Fiestar, perched between the hyper-hooky pop of their early years and the sleeker sexiness that would come next. As such, it strikes the perfect balance. Nothing about the track is overtly showy, but the blend of airy vocals and charismatic girl group attitude hits a home run.”
