Hellyeah Songs Ranked
Hellyeah, stylized as HELLYEAH, was an American heavy metal supergroup formed in Dallas, Texas, in 2006. The band’s last lineup consisted of lead vocalist Chad Gray, guitarists Christian Brady and Tom Maxwell, bassist Kyle Sanders, and drummer Roy Mayorga. The idea to form a supergroup originated in 2000 on the Tattoo the Earth tour, although plans were constantly put on hold due to scheduling conflicts. The summer of 2006 allowed the band to take the project seriously and record its first album. Recorded at Chasin’ Jason studio in Dimebag Darrell’s backyard, their self-titled album entered the Billboard 200 at number 9, selling 45,000 copies. They went on to release five more studio albums between 2010 and 2019. As of 2021, the band is on hiatus. Here are all of Hellyeah’s songs ranked.

10. Oh My God (Welcome Home, 2019)
“I can tell Chad wants Mudvayne fans to really appreciate Hellyeah and will do anything for us to tune into that music. Almost feels like a part of Mudvayne left with him, especially with the Blood on him and Morbid vibe from Heavy Metal that is present in this killer video !!”
9. GodDamn (Hellyeah, 2007)
“Hearing those drums at the start and knowing that is Dime’s brother. Wow, just wow. This song gets me stirred up!! I’m ready to wreck everything and have a good time!!”
8. Hellyeah (Hellyeah, 2007)
“The Abbott metal legend continues. I dont know why, but Vinnie seems so underrated as a drummer. The conversations I hear, he is rarely mentioned as a great drummer. Oh, but he is. Vinnie Kicks Ass! Hellyeah!”

7. Alcohaulin’ Ass (Hellyeah, 2007)
“What a great tune. Reminds me of going out to a club with my friends when I was younger. Makes me feel good. For obvious reasons, people always think this song is saying alcohol and ass. It may sound that way, but when you see how it’s title is written you realize that wasn’t the intention. Or at least it wasn’t the main intention. The real meaning is a play on words: Alcohol + Haulin’ Ass. Hauling Ass meaning driving really fast, it’s easily apparent the song is about taking a drunk joyride.”
6. Drink Drank Drunk (Band of Brothers, 2012)
“Drink Drank Drunk is not only my early favorite off the album but possibly my favorite HELLYEAH song. I’m sure this song is going to be a killer part of their live set. Drink Drank Drunk is just one of those songs that makes you wanna throw a party and get completely and utterly drunk whilst listening to this song!”
5. Love Falls (Undeniable, 2016)
“Great song. One of my favorites of many by this wonderful band. Depression is an ugly face. It will take away everything. However. If seen in the right light, it could be used as a weapon to defeating all walls of life.”

4. Human (Undeniable, 2016)
“This song is awesome the lead vocals are lit. I love the bands music and I rock this in my car and in my house. I have people who don’t even listen to rock asking me what song this is and who they are saying its lit.”
3. Moth (Blood for Blood, 2014)
“The song is mainly about him having compulsive or addictive behaviors that prove to be somewhat destructive in ways. I think it has a lot to do with love as well. He’s saying when someone loves him more and more, he loses that feeling of insecurity. But with most things that are beautiful, he destroys them because he’s afraid of getting close or attached for fear of being left abandoned by whoever it is. “
2. Hush (Blood for Blood, 2014)
“This song hits home. When you are a victim of domestic violence you always feel alone. This song shows you’re not alone! Chad did an amazing job!! This is one of my favorite songs…..it speaks to me instead way too close to home….it’s a incredible song . Love you guys it is a phenomenal song and it will be when my all-time favorites or a long long time.”
1. You Wouldn’t Know (Hellyeah, 2007)
“Listening to this song really lets you know it is mudvayne’s lead singer. This band is so overshadowed by being Vinnie’s Pantera alternative that the two Mudvayne members I didn’t even know about until it was obvious by listening to this song. If you love Mudvayne check out Hellyeah…”
