16. Moonlight Lady (1100 Bel Air Place, 1984)

“A romantic tune, that is one of my traveling songs. Julio Iglesias has a wonderful voice, and outdoes himself with this classic. I love most of Julio Iglesias’ music, but this is one of my favorites. It is very upbeat & fun to listen to.”

15. 99 Miles from L.A. (Starry Night, 1990)

“I enjoy many styles of music. Julio always sounds like he can carry you to another place. Hearing this song brings back memories of driving the coastal highway in California. He always creates such visions when I listen to his music.”

14. Manuela (A Flor De Piel, 1974)

“Those who have a few years on their shoulders remember them well and, listening to them, will feel transported into the past. Recommended to those who love the genre and want to have the greatest hits of then in one CD.”

13. Un Canto a Galicia (Un Canto a Galicia, 1972)

“Ironically, the title of this song UN CANTO A GALICIA – A Song to Galicia-is perfectly understandable to a Spanish speaker, but the song is not in Spanish, but rather the Galician language. The melody is soft and tuneful, which is the music I most enjoy listening to. The album that includes this song is mostly in Spanish, but this song stood out for its uniqueness.”

12. Cuidado amor (Love, 1975)

“Care love” is an absolutely curious and original song, it is not the typical love or heartbreak song, but the lyrics portray someone who sends a terrible threat of infidelity to his partner but returns soon to his side. Julio sings it with irony and absolute audacity. A whole song by a scoundrel Casanova.”

11. Me Va, Me Va (1100 Bel Air Place, 1984)

“My ultimate guilty pleasure. Guess I’m old enough now to declare that I really really like him. (I know people who wince when his name is mentioned). And his son is quite good as well. This album is a romantic winner.”

10. Só Você Vai Me Fazer Feliz (Starry Night 1990)

“It’s hard to resist this when so many of the songs are so great and when the guy clearly can sing… One of the best song I have ever heard in my life.”

9. Volver A Empezar (Begin the Beguine) (De niña a mujer, 1981)

“Begin The Beguine” is another brilliant collection from international singer Julio Iglesias. (Real Madrid’s loss was the musical world’s gain!!) Although all but 1 of the songs are sung in either Spanish or French, they are popular songs that you will recognise and the lack of English language will not spoil your enjoyment of these lovely songs in any way.”

8. Por El Amor De Una Mujer (A Flor De Piel, 1974)

“Por El Amor De Una Mujer: This song is so beautiful I asked a friend of mine to learn it and sing it everywhere he goes. It is so makes life and love worth having.”

7. Pobre diablo (Emociones, 1978)

“Julio is one of my favorite Spanish speaking songwriters and singers. I’ve been listening to him pretty much my entire life! Brings back great memories of my father who was also Spanish.”

5. To All the Girls I’ve Loved Before (Always On My Mind, 1982)

“These two singers blend very well together with this great song. The handsome heartthrob and the craggy country singer, both lovers with a great respect for “ALL THE GIRLS THEY LOVED BEFORE”. One of my favorites. Another oldie but goodie. What a combination that truly works! Willie Nelson and Julio Iglesias are just fabulous on this song. I never get tired of listening to it.”

4. Ni Te Tengo, Ni Te Olvido (Libra 1985)

“If you like Julio Iglesias, you would love this song. It’s easy listening, and his voice carries these lyrics quite well, and extremely romantic, and sad. I have been following his music since 1973, so I practically grow-up with his seductive voice and music. It brings memories of my puberty years and a carefree time.”

3. Soy un truhán, soy un señor (A mis 33 años, 1977)

“Words can’t describe how gorgeous Julio Iglesias sings…. beautiful music. Recommend to everyone that likes romantic music. Thanks Julio Iglesias.”

2. My Love (Non-Stop, 1988)

“As always a beautiful composition by Stevie Wonder and Julio Iglesias. Stevie Wonder never fails to write a fantastic song and now this time with Julio Iglesias it’s better than ever. Anyone who is a fan you need to add this to your collection.”

1. Júrame (America, 1976)

“Julio sings some of my favourite Spanish classics in this album along with some other wonderful songs I wasn’t previously familiar with. His voice is marvelous and he sings with passion and soul. This album may not have the fancy orchestral arrangements you find in many of his later albums but it has a simplicity which is beautiful and pure.”
