10. Lady & GentlemenĀ

ā€œHere, LeAnn is featured on a collection of classics from the men who made country music great. It may be hard, nay impossible, to fathom anyone holding a candle to the greatest country song ever written, George Jonesā€™ ā€œHe Stopped Loving Her Today,ā€ but her rendition is absolutely heart-wrenching.ā€

9. SpitfireĀ

ā€œLeAnnā€™s voice is just fantastic and the words of the song are so heartfelt. Every CD that she writes and produces herself is phenomenal and this one is that good. The other one she wrote and produced herself is Twisted Angel and it is also fantastic. Sheā€™s a great musician with a fantastic range.ā€

8. Twisted AngelĀ

ā€œThis album is pretty good! The best song is ā€œDamnā€. The only thing I donā€™t like about it is, she still sings with that country tone, and some songs it sounds funny to have such a pop beat, with her voice. Other than that this album is real good!ā€

7. Sittinā€™ On Top Of The WorldĀ

ā€œWorking in a more traditional area than many of her contemporaries, Le Ann Rimes was the only artiste on the recent Country Awards who deserved to be there. Though the very thought of Awards puts me right off she could be a sign that Country has finally decided to stop aping rock stars and do what it did best in the 50s.ā€

6. You Light Up My Life: Inspirational SongsĀ

ā€œThis is country at itā€™s best. Some lovely adoration Christian songs. As the title suggests truly inspirational. The songs are very much based around a Christian belief and are truly bible belt country songs in the most part. So if you are not into praising God, then this album isnā€™t for you, as most of the songs on this album have reference to God and Jesus. But personally I love it!ā€

5. BlueĀ

ā€œDebut album from LeAnn Rimes recorded when she was just 14 years old. Astonishingly mature voice for one so young, and singing a country album that proves that she should never have strayed away from this genre. She has a natural feel for singing country music, which makes this album sound effortless to her. The opener and title track Blue, is basically her doing her Patsy Cline imitationā€¦and boy does she have her off pat! The rest of the record is very easy on the ear, and a very relaxing listen.ā€

4. Greatest HitsĀ

ā€œA great album from a superb country singer! Her style and grace allows her to go from ballad to twang easily and believability. She is a superb artist with several memorable songs, particularly ā€œCommitment!ā€

3. This WomanĀ

ā€œā€This Womanā€ is LeAnnā€™s `return to formā€™. Fans of her earliest work will truly appreciate it, and even those that fell in love with her pop ditties will enjoy it. Yes, it has a bit of a country twang imbedded deep in its soulful lyrics. But LeAnnā€™s singing is absolutely outstanding: she sounds better than ever. She has one of the most honest and moving voices in music, and while sheā€™s always astounded listeners, her conviction and passion here is completely breathtaking.ā€

2. FamilyĀ

ā€œLeAnn Rimes is just a fantastic vocalist. If you like real Country Rock with great female vocals, this is a perfect choice. This is a one-of-a-kind album in her catalogue. I listen to the songs in alphabetical order (without the Bon Jovi track), and it works out just fine.ā€

1. Whatever We WannaĀ

ā€œā€Whatever We Wannaā€ is certainly on the pop field, with practically no country, although some tag it in this category. It again showcases LeAnn Rimesā€™ strong vocal mastery and her songwritersā€™ strong grip at what should be good music. The voice is always strong and good, and we all know that it handles both pop and country with equal power, vibrations and exquisite style.ā€
