5. America (2018)

“This is such a good album. Very freeing. Diverse with the vocals. There is a part where it seems like they’re channeling some Creed or something… but other than that, very very very good. Rescue Me, Dangerous Night, Monolith, and Walk on Water are probably at the top of the list for me.”

4. Love Lust Faith + Dreams (2013)

“Love Lust Faith & Dreams different from their last album this is war, But the power in the words in the songs are still great along with the music .Shannon Letos drumming & other talents do shine he has many instruments he uses to show it. I think this cd is more calm than this is war. Remember this is war is a powerful cd during a suit against their record comp & they made artifact during this time . So that being said Jared leto writes some powerful words to his songs.”

3. 30 Seconds To Mars (2002)

“30 Seconds To Mars is the project of vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Jared Leto (the guy with the cornrows in Panic Room) and his brother Shannon, who provides the drums. Their self-titled debut album is quite impressive, exceeding expectations not only by the standards of thespian vanity projects, but also those of modern rock in general. Musically, 30STM draw a heavy influence from classic prog rock bands like Pink Floyd, but the Letos have thrown in a healthy dose of synth-rock in the vein of Deadsy (whose synth player, Dr. Nner, contributes his skill to the opening track). Lyrically, they are even closer to prog, with songs that on the surface are about living in space, but have an underlying message that can be interpreted in many different ways, depending on the listener (a quality that Jared admits is intentional)”

2. A Beautiful Lie (2005)

“This music of A Beautiful Lie by Thirty Seconds To Mars is the right blend of rock music with hints of electronic music. I normally prefer happier love songs, yet I admit that the superb vocals and intense music bring alive even such serious songs as The Kill, The Story,From Yesterday. I have fortunately had a chance to previously enjoy the music from Thirty Seconds To Mars from their This is War collection, Love, Lust, Faith, and Dreams music collection, and a concert from April 2011 that gave me the privilege of enjoying their music live. However, a Beautiful Lie is still good to listen to even if you are a newbie to listening to their music.”

1. This Is War (2009)

“This album is amazing and has such an energy about it.. you can FEEL the electricity of the music while listening to it. People complain about the audience participation chorus (or “children’s chorus” as dubbed by some radio DJs) that is incorporated into some of the songs –but I actually enjoy it. For me, it bridges the gap between you”
