Us crank up the chaos on new single ‘Yo-Yo Revolution’

Finnish indie-rock agitators Us return with the explosive new single ‘Yo-Yo Revolution’, the latest preview of their forthcoming sophomore album Everybody’s Giving Up The Cabaret, due June 26.

Arriving after March’s ‘Man Ray’, the track captures the band’s unruly live-wire energy with even greater intensity. Distorted riffs, pounding drums and blasts of harmonica collide with Teo Hirvonen’s unmistakably weathered vocal delivery, creating a sound that feels both chaotic and strangely controlled.

Inspired by the surreal energy of Anna Karina’s “Roller Girl” imagery, ‘Yo-Yo Revolution’ thrives on tension and unpredictability, shifting between sparse, twitchy moments and huge anthemic bursts. The result mirrors the unstable motion of its title, constantly swinging between restraint and total release.

Already gaining attention through relentless touring, support slots with Electric Six and The Libertines, plus standout appearances at Glastonbury Festival, Us continue to establish themselves as one of Europe’s most unpredictable and exhilarating rising rock bands.
