Wet Denim come roaring out of Wellington with ‘Water For Dogs’

New Zealand rock outfit Wet Denim hit the ground at full speed on ‘Water For Dogs’, the explosive title track from their latest EP.

The Wellington four-piece waste absolutely no time making their presence felt. Huge guitar riffs crash against relentless drums and a thundering low end, while an instantly memorable hook brings the pop instinct that has increasingly separated Wet Denim from the crowd. Beneath all that glorious noise, the song tackles impermanence, adding a reflective undercurrent to its otherwise ferocious exterior.

Fronted by vocalist Nick Goodwin, alongside guitarist Luca Crampton and brothers Jack and Joe Ledword on drums and bass respectively, Wet Denim formed following a period of record rainfall in Wellington, making the title Water For Dogs feel particularly fitting.
